Sydney Wilcox

Sydney Wilcox is an Associate with Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and admitted to practice in Wisconsin.

Sydney graduated magna cum laude from Edgewood College (now Edgewood University) with a Political Science, Pre-Law major and Business minor. While at Edgewood, Sydney was active in the Student Senate where she served two terms as Student Body President. Sydney was also an intern in the Wisconsin State Assembly.

She earned her JD from Marquette University Law School and while there, she was an active member of the Moot Court Association and served as Chief Justice. Attorney Wilcox was a finalist in the Intramural Jenkins Honors Moot Court Competition, where she and her partner presented oral arguments in the final round. Additionally, Sydney competed in the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Brooklyn, New York, and was a quarter-finalist. Outside of Moot Court, she was also involved in the First-Generation Professionals.

Between law school and joining GRGB, Sydney worked as an Associate Attorney at a small civil litigation firm, where she gained experience in every stage of litigation, from initial pleadings through trial.

Sydney is an avid runner, and when she’s not training for her next race Sydney loves to cook, read, and crochet. Sydney also volunteers as an oral argument coach for moot court teams and will often judge oral arguments at competitions.

Sydney is licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
